In-patient Hospital

The in-patient hospital provides the accommodation, care and treatment of patients within the following departments:

• Oncology and hematology department

• Department for internal diseases

  • pulmonology

  • cardiology

  • gastroenterology

  • endocrinology

  • nephrology

  • allergology

• gerontology department with prolonged care and treatment ( elderly persons with the chronic - internal diseases)

• department for the professional diseases (persons exposed to the toxic substances at work or other places)

• department for the post-surgical care and rehabilitation

• INTENSIVE CARE DEPARTMENT with 6 beds, equipment, trained personnel and pharmacotherapeutical support provides excellent health care of serious patients and stabilisation of their vital functions through continuous monitoring.

Old people's home for elderly disabled persons

All rooms are air-conditioned, with one or two beds, telephone and cable TV. A pleasent living-room and kitchen with the menu modified according to the users' needs.
 

Applied programs:

• Adaptation programs for the new users, which include work with the family and other close persons.

• Regular group activities with users, such as excursions, art workshops, various types of occupational therapy

• Individual counseling with the elements of psychotherapy.

Daily Hospital for the chemotherapy applications

Our hospital is a unique private institution in this area that offers a hospital treatment to the oncological patients. The chemotherapy is being applied in the daily hospital with the psychological support for patients and family. Along with the application of standard chemo and radiotherapy, our hospital is the only one that also practices the therapy with non-specific immunostimulators. The synergistic effect of this kind of approach led us to the better results in the therapy of malignant diseases.

Counseling for healthy life style

Counseling for healthy life style includes:

• Education and counseling about hygienic and diet treatment in regard to sex, age, physical condition, obesity and underweight

• Prevention of disease

• Support for patients' families in the terminal phases of disease

• Social activities for patients are organized in regard to their aptitudes, in art, music, pastime recreation, relaxation and activities in nature.

THE HOSPITAL PROVIDES SCREENING FOR CARCINOMA, SARCOMA, LEUCEMIA AND LINFOMA RISK, THROUGH THE CYTOLOGIC BLOOD EXAMINATION AND THROUGH THE NUMBER OF CHROMOSOME ABERRATIONS AND MICRONUCLEI, WHICH IS CURRENTLY THE MOST RELIABLE TEST.

Counseling regards especially the closest family members of patients suffering from malignant diseases, as well as families of persons exposed to cancerogenic substances during the work.

Onchology Patient Club

Intended for individuals suffering from malignant diseases and their families.

Individual and group counseling operates within the club, which provides its users with information and support during the treatment process. The counseling department provides information on the nature of the disease, its revealing, treatment options (types of therapy and how they are implemented), undesired effects of individual therapies, as well as possibility of reaching and preservation of remission.

In addition to providing information the counseling department also provides support - assistance to individuals.

• overcoming stress and negative feelings the disease and its treatment imply

• maintaining and strengthening social support

• improvement of quality of life of the diseased

Counseling is provided every Tuesday and Thursday from 4 - 6 p.m.
